Terms of Service
Last updated 30 September 2026
Draft
These terms are an agreement between the company that operates this ChimeBee service (“we”) and the business that creates a ChimeBee workspace (“you”). By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of that business.
The service
ChimeBee lets your guests send requests from their phone and lets your team handle them. We keep it running with reasonable care and skill, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you depend on, we will tell you in advance.
Your account and team
- You are responsible for who you add to your team and what they do in your workspace.
- Keep passwords private. We recommend requiring two-step login for owners and managers (Settings → Security).
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has got into your account.
Guest data
You are the controller of your guests' personal data and we process it only on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for telling guests how you use their data and for having a lawful basis for it. ChimeBee gives you tools to export and erase a guest's data and to limit how long it is kept. If you need a signed data processing agreement, ask us.
Acceptable use
Don't use ChimeBee to break the law, to send spam, to store payment card numbers or health records in free-text fields, or to try to access another business's data or attack the service.
Fees
Paid plans are billed in advance for each period and aren't refundable for partial periods, unless the law says otherwise. If a payment fails we will tell you, and may suspend the workspace after a grace period. Your data isn't deleted while it is suspended.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using ChimeBee at any time. Ask us to delete your workspace and we will, within 30 days, apart from records we must keep by law. Before that, you can export guest data from the Guest data page. We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or bookings.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the company that operates this ChimeBee service is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction.
